In 1996, I founded the <\/span>Center for Environmental Health<\/span><\/a> (CEH) to eliminate toxic chemicals that threaten our health. CEH has a track record of creating profound and measurable change that has made our air, water, food and products safer. At CEH, I advised and negotiated with powerful corporate and elected leaders, testified on Capitol Hill, and led an organization made up of highly skilled, extremely effective and deeply committed experts. <\/span><\/p>\n During my time at CEH we got real, measurable health-protective policies passed at the local, state and federal levels. And we sued hundreds of large corporations to force them to stop making families and communities sick. For example, our litigation forced Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson to eliminate lead from the baby powder they sold, and we were the first to force Juul to stop marketing to teens. I stepped down as CEO in January 2023 to make room for the next generation of leadership.\u00a0 Please join me in supporting the important work of CEH<\/a> and their CEO Kizzy Charles-Guzman<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Prior to CEH, I worked for the Tibetan refugee community in Dharamsala, India to create a solid waste management plan, and cared for the sick at Mother Teresa\u2019s Kalighat<\/a> mission in Kolkata. I also worked for the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO<\/a>) in The Hague, and in Washington DC at both the US Dept of Energy and US EPA.<\/span><\/p>\n I\u2019m a recipient of the Compassion in Action Award given by the Dalai Lama Foundation as well as awards from the California Wellness Foundation and the US Secretary of Energy, and currently serve on the boards of <\/span>Camp For All Kids<\/span><\/a>, the International Pollutants Elimination Network<\/a>, <\/span>Kreddha<\/a>, <\/span>and Million Marker Research Institute<\/a>.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_id=”long-text”]Today, I am moved to partner with those in the private, philanthropic and non-profit sectors who aspire to change the world. Specifically, I am bringing my strategic lens to support the most important work, including:<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_id=”long-text”]I am thrilled to be in this new season of my career, and have been honored to work with inspirational organizations, including:<\/span><\/p>\n Private Sector: Philanthropic Sector: Non-Profit Sector: Also in the non-profit sector, I have been honored to facilitate two collective projects. One included the following groups: BFFP<\/a>, CIEL<\/a>, GAIA<\/a>, HCWH<\/a>, IAWP<\/a> and IPEN<\/a>. The other project included: CCI<\/a>, CIEL<\/a>, Earthjustice<\/a>, NRDC<\/a>, and Toxic Free Future<\/a>.<\/p>\n My entire career has focused on leadership strategies that successfully further compassion and justice. Most of this work has been in the field of protecting our environment and the health of people and all living things. I work with a small team of high-performing experts and we are excited to share our experience to help leaders working to heal our world.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n
